Movie 1
-
Movement of aggregated annexin V-FITC-labeled particles after 30-min incubation in perilymph solution. Each individual inner hair cell (IHC) has a bleb. Numerous aggregated particles with an apparently random motion were present in their lumens. Fluorescence microscopy using 488-nm excitation and 520-nm emission filters; lens: ×40, NA: 0.8. Images (148) were captured at intervals of 1 s.
Movie 2
-
Bleb size expansion until one IHC bleb moves away from the cell. A connection strand can be seen between the bleb and the apical IHC surface with another bleb forming. Fluorescence microscopy using 488-nm excitation and 520-nm emission filters; lens: ×40, NA: 0.8. Images (61) were captured at intervals of 1 min.
